Not all of our company's rental properties allow pets. For those that do, we use a website called petscreening.com to determine if your pet qualifies. This is a way to screen ALL animals - cats, rabbits, dogs, even working/support animals! No breed is an immediate no. Assistance animals, properly documented through this website, are permissible and are not charged any fees. The website will ask questions about your pet including breed, age, and size. It will also gather vet information and vaccination records, microchip data, etc., and generate a rating for us. The scale is 1 paw (highest liability) to 5 paws (lowest liability). Our company policy requires 3-paws minimum.

So, how does PetScreening.com actually come up with these ratings? In general, if your pet has a bite history, isn't vaccinated, isn't altered, or is a baby (under 2yrs), they probably won't pass. Alternately, if you have an additional pet insurance policy for renters that can be verified, have long term ownership history with the pet, and full immunization records that are documented and uploaded, you'll be on the right path.

Our one-time fees range from $200-500 depending on overall paw rating. This is a one time fee and is non-refundable/non-negotiable. We don't charge additional monthly pet rent at this time.
